Bring your legal questions to AGU25

In this last year, the scientific community has had to navigate unprecedented challenges and a rapidly shifting legal landscape. In response to these uncertain times, the Climate Science Legal Defense Fund (CSLDF) and AGU remain steadfast in providing resources for academics and researchers who seek to understand their legal rights and responsibilities.

This year, we’re proud to offer free, private, and confidential legal consultations to all AGU community members who have legal questions. Whether you’re already involved in scientific and political activism, have questions related to your scientific field or research, or are curious about how scientists can get proactively engaged in the upcoming elections, we encourage you to book an appointment through Calendly.

We are happy to conduct consultations in person (Show Office B211) at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center or on Zoom. For any questions or additional information, please contact lawyer@csldf.org.
